In France

Located in Pouilly sur Loire, our Estate is open all year. Visitors are welcome to taste and discover our wines. For those who cannot visit us, it is possible to order by phone, internet or directly on our website with a delivery in France. We also welcome you to meet us at the vignerons independants fairs; we participate in several cities in France. To get more information, you can visit our News » page.

Nos vins sont également présents dans plusieurs restaurants et cavistes de toute la France. Enfin, depuis 1976, nous sommes aussi très présents à l’international. A l’heure actuelle, nous exportons nos vins vers plus de 23 pays.

International

The international market is very important for us. We sell our wines to the four corners of the world and, more exactly, in more than 30 countries spread across 5 continents. Our Pouilly Fumé Arrêt-Buffatte is also served in the Maido restaurant, in Lima (Peru) 5th best restaurant in the world according to “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024”.

If you are visiting our region, we will be happy to welcome you for a tasting at our cellar.
Cellar visits are possible for groups of 10 to 25 people, but only by reservation.

We are open every day of the year. However, if you would like to visit during the weekend or after 5:30pm during the week, it’s better to call ahead to be sure that we are present.

Indeed, before 1880, the Chasselas grape variety was very present in the vineyard, particularly for the production of table grapes. Thanks to the railway, the grapes traveled from Pouilly to Paris in a few hours and were resold, freshly picked, in Paris. Unfortunately, everything stopped in the 1880s, with the arrival of phylloxera in the vineyard. This insect, which came from America in 1863, ravaged French vines, region after region, for around thirty years, until the vineyards were replanted with American rootstocks, naturally resistant to this little aphid. The Pouilly vineyard, then destroyed by phylloxera, the winegrowers decided to reorient themselves towards Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety which allows them to produce more complex wines. The vines planted in Chasselas disappear little by little from the vineyard…
